Yakira Chambers Bio, Parents, Siblings, Husband, Children: Yakira Chambers was an actress, producer, and writer born in 1980 in Chicago, Illinois.

She developed a love for entertainment at a very younger age and after taking on a career in business administration, she pivoted her professional ambitions toward entertainment.

Due to this career switch, she relocated to Los Angeles to pursue acting and writing. Yakira Chambers is known for several films including; M.O. Diaries, John Henry, Eye See Me, The Obama Effect, Bobby, Internal Graffiti, The Green Bench, and On Guard, among others.

In April 2021, CBS announced that a fourth NCIS spinoff was in development and was going to be set in Hawaii. The network brought on Yakira to write for the 1st season of the series and penned four episodes.

By the time season 2 started, she was promoted to the show’s story editor. Sadly, Yakira Chambers died on November 30, 2022. On December 5, 2022, her family revealed that the renowned actress and writer died of acute asphyxia.

Her death happened after visiting a mall in Newport Beach, California when she started to experience difficulty breathing and collapsed.

In January 2023, she made headlines when NCIS: Hawaii planned to pay tribute to her during episodes scheduled for January 2023.
