X Factor: New names for ALL the Groups

The Groups category mentored by Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, have all had to change their names for legal reasons.

It’s a first in X Factor history that an entire category have had to change their band name.

In previous years, the groups have had to change their names, including Little Mix who were originally called Rhythmix until the live shows started in 2011.

So to avoid any legal battles, the X Factor team have taken a pre emptive strike, by changing all the band’s names now.

The new names are as follows:

Alien are now called Alien Uncovered

BEKLN have been renamed BEKLN Mile

The First Kings are now called New Kings Order

Menn On Poinnt have changed their name to Reggie n Bollie

Silver Tone have been renamed Melody Tone

4th Power will now be known as 4th Impact

X Factor continues this weekend on Saturday from 8pm and Sunday from 7.30pm, as the show reaches the ‘Judges Houses’ stage.
