Joji is a $8 million net-worth Japanese musician, songwriter, rapper, and record producer. Joji was born in September 1992 in Osaka, Japan. On YouTube, he went by the name Filthy Frank and released videos of rapping, challenges, ukulele performances, and other things. Joji has also released humorous hip hop music as Pink Guy. He was responsible for the viral sensation known as the Harlem Shake, which inspired the song “Harlem Shake” by Baauer.
What happened to Joji ? Why was his Coachella 2022 performance stopped midway?
Joji‘s Coachella 2022 performance was cut short since the R&B singer was not feeling well due to health issues. Fans are now blaming the event organizers after his broadcast was abruptly canceled. Netizens are also outraged that the popular festival failed to regard the singer’s health.
Fans were ecstatic to watch the singer perform via livestream. Those who couldn’t afford tickets or go to California to watch the concerts live were hoping to catch a preview of the performers’ performances via a webcast on April 17.
Joji admirers, on the other hand, were unhappy. During the singer’s performance in the middle of his concert, he stepped off stage, leaving his band on stage alone. He then returned after a brief intermission to perform once more.
Fans remarked that the singer appeared to be less excited about singing. During his return performance, he paused to apologize to the audience and claimed that he was unable to perform due to underlying health issues.
Fans of the Slow Dancing In The Dark singer were outraged that he returned to the stage while suffering from health problems. Coachella’s official social media page had also removed photographs and videos of the singer from its account, according to netizens. His webcast was also cut short, and it was replaced by a Doja Cat performance livestream.
As the Coachella situation grew, people condemned both the summer festival and 88rising. The latter is a music label under which Joji played. Fans believe that the two coerced the musician into continuing to play despite his illness. It is unclear, however, if the performer was required to do so.
