Vikram Gokhale Children: Does Vikram Gokhale Have Children? – Aside from his work in Marathi theater, Hindi films, and television, Vikram Gokhale also performed on stage and on television. He was the son of Chandrakant Gokhale, a veteran Marathi actor on stage and screen.
With the Marathi film Aaghaat, Gokhale made his feature film directing debut in 2010. He won the National Film Award for Best Actor in 2013 for his Sprint Arts Creation-produced Marathi film Anumati.
Gokhale was the owner of Sujata Farms, a real estate company in Pune. He was a social activist as well. His family’s charitable foundation provides funding for orphan children’s education, children of lepers, and disabled soldiers.
The first female actor in the nation was his great-grandmother Durgabai Kamat, and his grandmother Kamlabai Gokhale was the first female child actor.
His father, veteran Marathi actor Chandrakant Gokhale, appeared in more than 70 Marathi and Hindi films.
Some of the movies that he starred in are Parwana (1971), Yehi Hai Zindagi (1977), Swarg Narak (1978) – Cinema Hall Manager, Har Har Gange (1979), Kanoon Ka Shikar (1979), Nikamma (2022), Godavari (2021), Tehreer (2021), Prawaas (2020), AB Aani CD (2020), Mission Mangal (2019), Hichki (2018), Aiyaary (2018), Khopa (2017), Firangi (2017), Marathon Zindagi (2017) [12], Youth (2016 film) Marathi film, A Dot Com Mom (2016), Traffic (2016), 702 Dixit’s (2016), Natsamrat (2015), Take it Easy (2015), Shasan (2015), Karbonn (2015), and Ab Tak Chhappan 2 (2015).
He was hospitalized in Pune on November 5, 2022, and passed away there on November 26, 2022.
The actor, who has reportedly been afflicted with health issues for some time, was admitted to Pune’s Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital. Before passing away today, he had been using a ventilator support system for some time. He had a multi-organ failure, his wife claimed in a statement.
His final rites will be performed at 6 pm at Vaikunth Samshan Bhumi in Pune, and his body will be kept at Balgandharv Rangmanch for Antim Darshan.
The hospital where he died has released an official statement that reads;
“We are saddened to announce that the noted actor Mr. Vikram Gokhale passed away today at Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital due to multi-organ failure. Our deep condolences.”
