R&B superstar, Rihanna was in Senegal recently in her capacity as the ambassador for the Global Partnership for Education at the GPE Financing Conference.

Other world leaders were also present, notably our very own Nana Akufo Addo. After the programme, The Umbrella

hitmaker shook hands with President Akufo-Addo and this has surprisingly excited social media users here in Ghana.

The aim of the International Conference was to elevate the impact of access to education and raise funds for schooling in some of the world’s poorest communities.
