Tim Hardaway is an American former professional basketball player and coach who played a total of 15 seasons in the National Basketb all Association (NBA) for the Golden State Warriors, Miami Heat, Dallas Mavericks, Denver Nuggets and the Indiana Pacers. Of the seasons spent playing the beautiful game, he spent a combined 12 seasons playing for the Golden State Warriors (7) and Miami Heat (5) and a year apiece for the other three.
Hardaway played college basketball for the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP Miners) under head coach Don Haskins, who later was named into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame for his achievements in nurturing star players. He was selected by the Golden State Warriors in the 1st round, 14th overall pick in the 1989 NBA draft.
