Released over 2 years ago, Tems’ chart topping single ‘Free Mind’ continues to live rent free in the minds of fans as well as music lovers.
As evidence, a video of a college band in America performing the beautifully crafted song has gone popular on social media indicating that, the masterpiece has been getting rotation on American airwaves since its release.
In the video spotted online, students of Praire View A&M University (PVAMU) in Texas were seen performing Tems masterpiece, ‘Free Mind’ during their entry for this year’s Battle of the Bands competition.

‘Free Mind’ happens to be a tune off Tems’ debut EP, ‘For Broken Ears’. Recently, the song debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 charts at number 90 and makes one out of the singer’s five entries on the charts.
Well, the BET award winner, Tems has reacted to the viral video. Taking to the bird app, she wrote; “WOW Who knew when I wrote this song I was making history. Now it is timeless. God’s doing!! All the glory in the world belongs to Him”
