Singer Nana Nsiah Piesie Of ‘Police Abaa’ Fame Confirmed Dead

In a fresh report gathered, Nana Nsiah Piesie, a famous Ghanaian highlife musician has died.

According to a family source, his brother, Rev. Stephen Ohene Boahen, he died on Monday, April 4, 2022, in an accident. A popular Ghanaian blog Nkonkonsa added that the musician was refused admission at the 37 Military Hospital and sadly passed away on his way to Accra Regional Hospital.

The statement released regarding the sad news of the ‘Police Abaa’ hitmaker reads;

“It is with a heavy heart to confirm the news of the unexpected departure of our Brother and Music Legend Nana Nsiah Piesie of Police Abaa fame to the other side on monday 4th April, 2022,”

It added, “He had a car accident around Pokuase and was rushed to 37 Military Hospital. They did not take care of him upon arrival and referred him to Accra Regional Hospital but he couldn’t make it. He gave up his soul on the Arrival.”

In other news, astute Ghanaian journalist, Manasseh Azure Awuni has thrown shades at the president of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo.

This comes after the president’s recent interview on BBC where he answered questions concerning the economy of Ghana.

Many Ghanaians have reacted to the interview, and there are some who believe the answers the president gave were not enough to convince Ghanaians and the world that the country’s economy is not hailing.

The popular journalist was part of the popular personalities who have shared their thoughts. Taking to his official social media handle on the popular social media platform, Facebook, he wrote;

“You can evade all the critical media here, but if your fundamentals are weak, the foreign media will still expose you.”
