Scott Ratcliff happens to be the third husband of the award-winning actress, Kym Marsh after two failed marriages with Jack Ryder (2002–2009) and Jamie Lomas (2012–2014).

Marsh’s first marriage was to the actor, Jack Ryder in St Albans, Hertfordshire, on Saturday, 10 August 2002.

On 20 March 2008, it was announced that the couple had decided to separate and would be seeking a divorce. They announced their divorce on 12 August 2009.

After their separation, Marsh dated actor Jamie Lomas from July 2008 onwards and eventually, they got married in Cheshire in September 2012. They separated in 2013 and divorced in 2014.

After Kym Marsh divorced her second husband, Jamie Lomas, she announced her engagement to Scott Ratcliff, an army major, on 14 June 2021 and they married on 16 October 2021.

Despite reports of the break-up, Kym Marsh was still wearing her wedding band when she stepped out for the first time following the news.

According to reports, Scott (army major) and Marsh decided to end their marriage due to the strain of work, but ‘cracks’ had been present in the relationship for some time.

The pressures of their careers led to the couple attempting a trial separation earlier this year, before deciding to officially split.

While Scott is based in barracks down south, Kym lives in Cheshire meaning the couple struggled to spend quality time together and Marsh’s intense Strictly rehearsals last year reportedly put further strain on the marriage.

The love birds had a trial separation earlier this year (2023) and were hoping to get things back on track but they’ve decided it’s best to go their separate ways.
