Rick Scott Wife: Who Is Ann Scott?: Rick Scott, officially known as Richard Lynn Scott is an American attorney, businessman, and politician.

After serving in the United States Navy and becoming a law firm partner, he co-founded Columbia Hospital Corporation.

As a member of the Republican Party, Scott ran for governor of Florida in 2010 defeating Bill McCollum in the Republican primary election.

Following his win, he represented the Republican Party in the 2010 general election and also defeated Democratic nominee, Alex Sink to become the Governor of Florida.

Scott was reelected in 2014 and as a member of the Republican Party, he was the 45th governor of Florida from 2011 to 2019.

He was prevented by term limits from running for reelection in 2018 and instead ran for the United States Senate.

Scott won the 2018 US Senate election, defeating Bill Nelson. The initial election results were so close that they triggered a mandatory recount.

However, the mandatory recount showed that Scott had won by over ten thousand (10,000) votes and then Nelson eventually conceded the race.

Scott assume office following the expiration of his term as governor of Florida on January 8, 2019. At the time of this writing, he is serving as the junior United States senator from Florida since 2019.

In June 2023, the 70-year-old politician, Rick Scott hit the headlines after it was disclosed that, he is running for reelection in 2024.

Rick Scott has been married to Frances Annette Holland (Ann Scott) since 1972.

On April 20, 1972, Scott, then aged 19, tied the knot with his high school sweetheart, Frances Annette Holland who was also 19 years old at that time.

Annette, born May 11, 1952, is an American businesswoman and philanthropist. She served as the first lady of Florida from 2011 to 2019 as the wife of Rick Scott.
