Edson Arantes do Nascimento, popularly known as Pele, is an 82-year-old former Brazilian professional soccer player who was born on October 23, 1940, in Torres Corazoniz, Minas Gerais, Brazil. who started playing for Santos at age 15 and for the Brazilian national team at age 16.

During his international career, he won three FIFA World Cups in 1958, 1962, and 1970, and became the only player to do so. Pele is Brazil’s all-time leading scorer, with 77 goals he scored in 92 appearances. At the club level, he is Santos’ top scorer with 643 goals in his 659 appearances. During Santos’ golden age, he led the club to the 1962 and 1963 Copa Libertadores, and the 1962 and 1963 Intercontinental Cup.

Pele was born into a poor family that couldn’t afford a lot of things but while he continued to struggle financially in São Paulo and worked various jobs to help his family, young Pele discovered his true talent in the field.

Waldemar de Brito with his father who was a footballer himself trained him and Pele began to mature as a player at Baul Athletic Club Juniors under the guidance of a former international player named. Coach Debrito recognized his ability and recommended a trial at Santos FC.

The team’s management agreed with De Brito’s assessment and signed Pele in June 1956. Just three months after him, Pele scored on his debut. Little known at the time, it boded well for the rest of Pele’s pr ofessional career success.

In less than a year, Pele topped the league’s scoring charts. His performance at just 17 years old caught the attention of the national team and he didn’t disappoint. In his first appearance on the world stage, he scored important goals in both the semi-finals and final of the 1958 World Cup, winning the championship with the Brazilian national team.

By this time, he had achieved superhero status in Brazil and was becoming famous around the world. The Brazilian government honored him as a “national treasure” and elevated his status in the country, but prevented him from receiving widespread donations.

Around 1970, Pele reportedly decided to put on his hat and walk away from football while he was upstairs. Ultimately, however, he was persuaded to play his final World Cup with Brazil in Mexico, considered by many to be the greatest team of all time.

Pele helped Brazil win the tournament with a goal and several key assists, for which he was awarded the Golden Ball. Pele remained with the Brazilian team for about a year before resigning in 1971. A few years later, he said goodbye to the fans at Santos. However, his days as a player weren’t over.

By the time he retired in 1977, Pele had set a number of seemingly unbreakable records. He scored a total of 1,283 goals in his 1,363 games, making him the top scorer in the history of the Brazilian national team and FIFA. Equally impressive were his 92 hat tricks. He also won three medals at the FIFA World Cup and set a record for most individual victories. But his early days should not be overlooked, as a brilliant young man, Pele became the youngest player to score a hat-trick in a World Cup final and the youngest to score.

Pele has been married three times, has had several affairs, and had several children from them. On February 21, 1966, Pele married Rosemeri dos Reis Cholbi. They had two daughters and a son. In April 1994, Pele married psychologist and gospel singer Assyria Lemos Seishas, and on September 28, 1996, she gave birth to twins, Joshua and Celeste, through fertility treatments.

Edinho

Edson Cholbi do Nascimento, better known as Edinho, is a 52-year-old Brazilian soccer coach and former player turned goalkeeper who is Londrina’s current manager. Edinho is the son of football legend Pelé with his first wife Rosemeri Cholbi Nascimento, who is of Brazilian-Argentinian descent.

Edinho played for four clubs in Santos, Portugal, Santista, San Caetano, and Ponte Preta, until 1999, when he retired from professional football at the age of 29. His greatest achievement was joining the team Santos where he finished second in the 1995 Serie A.

In 2005, he was arrested for money laundering and drug trafficking. He appealed the verdict and was allowed to continue on the run until he appealed. In 2014, he was sentenced to a 33-year prison sentence for the crime but has steadfastly denied any involvement.

The court reduced his sentence to 12 years and 10 months, but Edinho was supposed to serve his sentence in prison. Edinho started serving his sentence in 2017, but the following year he went for a semi-open regime. In September 2019, he received an open regime.

On 14 October 2016, Edinho took charge of his father’s hometown club, Tricordiano, for the next season, but on 8 February, after just two official matches, he resigned and was dismissed from his duties. On November 1, 2019, Edinho returned to Santos as Development Coordinator. In October of the following year, he was appointed manager of the U23s.

Sandra Regina Machado Arantes do Nascimento

Sandra Regina Machado Arantes do Nascimento Felinto born on 24 August 1964, in Guaruja was a Brazilian politician from Santos, São Paulo. She rose to national prominence after a lengthy legal battle with famous former player Pele’s Edson Arantes do Nascimento, seeking recognition for her father.

Sandra Machado was born from an affair Pelé had in 1964 with a housemaid, Anizia Machado, but he refused to accept her as his daughter even after a DNA test. Although she was recognized by courts as his biological daughter based on DNA evidence in 1993, Pelé never acknowledged his eldest daughter even after her death in 2006.

Sandra Machado died of lung metastases, multiple organ failure, and complications from breast cancer in the Beneficencia Portuguese intensive care unit in Santos, where she was hospitalized. It was resected, but it soon spread to her left breast and spread to various organs despite chemotherapy.

According to her medical report, Sandra Machado believed in divine miracles and preferred to put her treatment on the back burner, which is why she resisted treatment. Pele did not attend the funeral of his daughter but sent flowers on behalf of the Pele company, which were returned.

Joshua Nascimento

Joshua Nascimento is a 25-year-old Brazilian footballer who plays as a midfielder. He was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil to Assyrian Lemos and Pele, Joshua spent most of his successful football career with the Brazilian club, Santos FC. He captained the club in the 2013 São Paulo State Cup championship and won.

Joshua Nascimento graduated from Foundation Academy University. He has also helped Santos FC Youth in Brazilian with his charities by distributing shirts to children while playing in the academy.

Celeste Arantes do Nascimento is the eldest twin son of soccer champion Pele and psychologist and gospel singer Assyria Lemos Seixias, a Brazilian dynasty. Celeste came first at 9:40 p.m making him the first son and one minute after his twin brother Joshua came. They were premature babies born at 30 weeks gestation.

Pele’s wife Assyria was 36 years old when he was 56. They were married on his May 30, 1994, and he had a previous vasectomy, so the baby was in a test tube. He was present at the cesarean delivery and “cried more than a baby”.
