Ovidio Guzman commonly known as ‘El Raton’ or ‘El Nuevo Raton is a Mexican drug lord and high-ranking member of the Sinaloa Cartel, a criminal group based in the state of Sinaloa.

He’s the son of infamous and imprisoned drug lord Joaquin ‘El Chapo’ Guzman, once considered Mexico’s most-wanted drug lord and the world’s most-wanted criminal.

Ovidio Guzman became an important figure in the Sinaloa Cartel after the arrest and extradition of his father to the United States in 2017.
