Nyck De Vries (born on February 6, 1995) is a Dutch racing driver who is currently competing in the 2019-20 Formula E season for Mercedes-Benz EQ Formula E Team and the 2019-20 FIA World Endurance Championship season for Racing Team Nederland in the LMP2 class. He was the winner of his first 2019 FIA Formula 2 Championship and also the 2011 and 2010 Karting World Championships, and in 2014, the Formula Renault 2.0 Alps and Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup Championships. He was contracted to McLaren’s McLaren young driver program from January 2010 to May 2019 and the Audi Sport racing academy from October 2016 to August 2019. In 2019 he won the FIA Formula 2 World Championship.
On the 11th of September, 2019 De Vries was announced as a driver in the brand new Mercedes-Benz EQ Formula E Team for the 2019-20 Formula E season alongside Stoffel Vandoorne.
On September 28, 2019, he took on the 28th of September in the Russian F2 event, securing title of title of 2019 Formula 2 Championship driver’s title.
