Nick Koster Death: What Happened To Nick Koster?: Nick Koster, officially known as Ralph Nicholas Koster was a South African rugby union player.

He developed a passion for playing rugby union at a younger age, was consistent throughout his career, and rose through the ranks to become one of the most sought-after rugby union players.

During his career, Koster made 62 appearances for Bristol (position of Flanker or Eight Man) between 2013 and 2017 after joining them following a short stint with Bath.

He also captained Cambridge University in the 2018 Varsity Match against Oxford and also played in South Africa for Western Province and the Stormers.

Sadly, the former Bristol and Bath back-row forward Nick Koster has died at the age of 34. Nick Koster passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2023.

At the time of this writing, the cause of Koster’s death is not known. However, following his demise, colleagues and clubs have paid tribute to the iconic player.

Paying tribute to the star rugby player, a statement from Bristol Bears

via its official and verified Twitter account said; “The club is devastated to hear of the tragic passing of hugely popular former player Nick Koster at the age of 34. Rest in peace, Nick.”

Bath Rugby also wrote via Twitter; “Bath Rugby is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of former player Nick Koster. Everyone at Bath Rugby would like to extend their heartfelt sympathies to Nick’s family, friends, and teammates”
