Nahshon Wright children-American football comerback, Nahshon Wright was born September 23rd, 1998 in East Palo Alto, California in the United States of America.
He was born to Jamal Wright and Sadio Simon. Wright shares the same parents with his younger brother, Rezjohn who was featured in the 2020 season of the series Last Chance U.

Wright stands at a height of 1.93 m and weighs 84kg. He attended James Logan High School, where he played as a wide receiver and cornerback.
He furthered his education at the Oregon State University in 2019. In basketball and track, Wright received letters as well. He attended Laney College, where he played a part in the team’s 2018 state championship victory.
He was named All-Conference after recording 12 starts, 17 tackles (1.5 for loss), four interceptions, and three passes defended.
In 2019, he switched to Oregon State University. He participated in all 12 games as a sophomore, including 10 starts, and recorded 34 tackles (including 0.5 tackles for loss) and 3 interceptions. Due of the COVID-19 pandemic, the junior football season in 2020 consisted of only seven games.
30 tackles, two interceptions, four passes defensed, and one sack were all part of his six starts. Against California, he made six tackles and one interceptions.
Against Oregon, he made seven tackles, one interception, and one pass defense. Against Stanford, he recorded seven tackles and one sack. After the season, he declared for the NFL Draft.
The Dallas Cowboys selected Wright in the third round of the 2021 NFL Draft (99th overall). The team passed on other defensive backs such Elijah Molden, Ifeatu Melifonwu, Ambry Thomas, and Brandon Stephens, and the media condemned the selection as a reach.
On July 21, Wright agreed to a $4.8 million, four-year rookie contract with Dallas. He touched a blocked punt that had crossed the line of scrimmage in Week 9’s game vs the Denver Broncos, which led the officials to award the Broncos a new set of downs and award the ball back to them.
Against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 10, he scored on a blocked punt recovery. He mostly participated on special teams, recording two special team tackles and seven defensive tackles for the season.
