Mohamed Salah Hamed Mahrous Ghaly, popularly known as Mo Salah, is a professional Egyptian footballer who plays in the English Premier League.

Mo Salah started his professional career in 2009-2010 when he joined Al Mokawloon Al Arab in the Egyptian Premier League. He spent 3 years in his home club and produced amazingly his stay that paved the way for a move to the Swiss Super League. He managed to score 12 goals in his 44 appearances for the Egyptian club.

Salah joined Basel for 2 seasons in the Swiss Super League. After scoring 20 goals in 79 appearances, he was then signed by The Pride of London, Chelsea.

He spent 2 years at Chelsea but he hardly had play time so went out on loan deals. He made 19 appearances and scored only 2 goals for the London club.

He spent a year at Fiorentina as a loan player and later a year at Roma as a loan player before signing for Roma as a full time player. His 2 years at Roma gave him 83 appearances with 34 goals to his name which helped generate a move back to the English Premier League.

Salah’s return to the English Premier League this time was to Liverpool. After joining Liverpool in 2017-2018, he is still having an amazing time having elevated his team to several glories due to his extraordinary performance. He has so far made 275 appearances and scored 170 goals for Liverpool.

Mohamed Salah is happily married to Magi Sadeq and is blessed with two beautiful children.

Their first child was born in October 2014. She was named Makka, after the holy Islamic town Mecca.

After 6 years, the couple welcomed their second daughter, Kayyan Mohamed Salah, in February 2020.
