Michelle Monaghan’s Husband’s Reaction to Tom Cruise Honeymoon Makeout Scene

Michelle Monaghan’s hubby, Peter White, is her rock. He was nothing short of “proud” when she ditched their honeymoon to film “Mission: Impossible III”. The twist? Her first scene was getting “intimate” with Tom Cruise.

After smooching her “nice” co-star, Monaghan, now 47, couldn’t wait to tell White about the “amazing” experience. White’s reaction? “How cool is it that you were making out with Tom Cruise on our honeymoon?” she remembered him saying during a recent Collider interview. They’re both big fans, you see.

The “True Detective” star couldn’t help but sing praises for her “sweet” partner. He was “so proud” at the time, she said. It was a “testament to the man that [she] married.”

Monaghan couldn’t help but gush about her supportive husband. “[He] has just been totally supportive and is excited and jazzed for the opportunities. … I worked hard to get that role, and it was just one of those things. We just got married and really discovered our careers in New York together, and so that was really special,” she said.

The couple, who starred in “Made of Honor”, now have two kids – daughter Willow, 14, and son Tommy, 9.

As for Cruise, he was dating Katie Holmes while filming the movie. They got hitched the following year and welcomed daughter Suri, now 17, before parting ways in 2012. Cruise, now 61, is estranged from Suri, who looks a lot like Holmes.

Suri seems to be following her parents’ footsteps, starring in her high school’s “Addams Family” play.

Since his split from Holmes, Cruise has been low-key about his love life. But, he’s reportedly seeing a Russian socialite named Elsina Khayrova now. Dmitry Tsetkov, Khayrova’s ex-husband, had a word of caution for Cruise last week. He warned Cruise to keep his “eyes and wallet wide open” while dating her.
