Biography of Brandon Moreno
In Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico, Brandon Moreno was born and raised in a working-class family that owned a piata business.
He made the decision to begin training in mixed martial arts when he was twelve years old in order to start losing weight.
His mother signed him up for the local Entram Gym. Despite having initially intended to enroll in law school and pursue a career as an attorney, Moreno decided to focus solely on his mixed martial arts career.
In his native Mexico, Moreno made his professional MMA debut in April 2011. Over the following two years, he amassed a record of 6 wins and 3 losses.

In 2014, Moreno would debut in a World Fighting Federation promotion. In the promotion, he would go 5-0, capture the Flyweight title, and maintain his perfect record.
As a result, he was given a spot in the 25th season of The Ultimate Fighter’s Flyweight tournament.
It was confirmed in July 2016 that Moreno participated in The Ultimate Fighter: Tournament of Champions.
Moreno was selected to be a part of Team Benavidez. He faced Alexandre Pantoja in the opening round, but lost by submission.
After agreeing to a multi-fight contract with the Legacy Fighting Alliance, Moreno made his promotional debut at LFA 69 on June 7, 2019, against the current flyweight champion Maikel Perez. [30] Moreno triumphed in the fourth round through technical knockout.
At UFC Fight Night 159 on September 21, 2019, Moreno squared off against promotion rookie Askar Askarov. The tight battle ended in a split draw.
At UFC 245 on December 14, 2019, Moreno faced Kai Kara-France. He was declared the winner by a unanimous vote.
At UFC Fight Night 170 on March 14, 2020, Moreno squared off against Jussier Formiga. By a unanimous decision, he won the contest.
