His father was chairman, president, and chief executive officer of Chicago-based Amsted Industries, which was ranked as one of the United States’ largest private companies by Forbes
Reum is well known for his marriage to Paris Hilton, an American media personality, businesswoman, socialite, model, actress, and singer. He’s also notable for founding M13 Ventures, an angel investment firm.
Reum has been featured in episodes of the television series Hatched and has appeared as a guest and a commentator on various networks including CBS and Fox.

He’s also a contributing writer for Huffington Post and Inc. Reum has authored several projects including; Ten Ways to Speed Up Entrepreneurial Success.
In November 2023, Carter Reum and his wife, Paris Hilton hit major headlines after they welcomed a newborn daughter.
In a surprise post on Instagram, the media personality, 42, announced that she welcomed her second child with husband Reum, 42.
Hilton posted a photo of a pink baby outfit with a pair of heart-shaped sunglasses and a brown teddy bear.
Written across the front of the shirt is presumably their newborn daughter’s name; London.
“Thankful for my baby girl,” Hilton captioned the post.
