Hans Zimmer born on 12 September 1957, is a German film score composer and music producer who has won two Oscars and four Grammys and has been nominated for two Emmys and a Tony and was also named on the list of Top 100 Living Geniuses, published by The Daily Telegraph.

His work is characterized by the synthesis of electronic music sounds and traditional orchestral arrangements. Since the 1980s, Hans Zimmer has composed music for over 150 films. He has won the Academy Award for Music twice for The Lion King (1994) and Dune (2021). His works include Gladiator, The Last Samurai, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Inception, Man of Steel, Interstellar, and Dunkirk.

On 3 April 2020, he filed for divorce from his second wife, Suzanne Zimmer, with whom he has three children. On 15 June 2023, 65-year-old Hans Zimmer proposed to his partner Dina De Luca on stage at London’s O2 Arena during one of his shows.
