Sadiq Khan’s Daughters: Meet Anisah Khan And Ammarah Khan: Born on October 8, 1970, Sadiq Khan, officially known as Sadiq Aman Khan is a British politician.
At the time of this writing (Thursday, May 25, 2023), Sadiq Khan is a British politician serving as Mayor of London since 2016.
Khan earned a law degree from the University of North London and prior to becoming a politician, he worked as a solicitor specializing in human rights issues and chaired the Liberty advocacy group.

When Sadiq Khan joined the Labour Party, he became a councilor for the London Borough of Wandsworth from 1994 to 2006.
As a member of the Labour Party, he was elected as Member of Parliament for Tooting at the 2005 general election where he served from 2005 until 2016.
In the 2016 mayoral election, Khan defeated the Conservative candidate Zac Goldsmith to become the Mayor of London and eventually resigned as an MP.
In the 2018 Time 100 list, he was included as one of the most influential people in the world.

As Mayor of London, Khan has implemented a number of policies including; the Hopper fare for unlimited bus and tram journeys for an hour.
He also increased the cost and the area covered by the London congestion charge and introduced new charges for older and more polluting vehicles driving in the city.
Khan has been praised for making London’s transport more accessible and reducing the number of polluting vehicles in central London
He also backed expansion at London City Airport and Gatwick Airport and established the Commission for Diversity in the Public Realm following the 2020 George Floyd protests.
Sadiq Khan was re-elected as Mayor in May 2021 and at the time of this writing (Thursday, May 25, 2023), he’s serving as Mayor of London.

Sadiq Khan has been blessed with two daughters; Anisah Khan and Ammarah Khan. The Mayor of London shares his two children with his wife, Saadiya Khan.
The couple’s first daughter, Anisah Khan, was born in 1999, followed by their second daughter, Ammarah Khan, who was born in 2001.
