Recall Shatta Wale since yesterday on his various social media platforms has been slamming those participating in the ongoing protest calling them all sort of names. According to him, the youth should rather focus on working rather than demonstrating against the government.

He said whatever the the youth will do, the government will be able to shut them down as it has already started happening in Ejura in the Ashanti region region where the police and the military has so far killed three protesters.

He went on to describe the demonstrators as some unemployed graduates who don’t have anything better to do with their time.

Most Ghanaians on social media who disagrees with the self-acclaimed Dancehall King has been reacting to his comment with many of them expressing the disappointment in him.

Mc Yaa Yeboah, who is one of the main advocates on the protest has hit social media with a video reacting to the comments from the ‘Ayoo’ hitmaker slammed him for describing the demonstrators as unemployed graduates.

This is coming from an idiott who is being glorified as a celebrity in Ghana. This same shata wale claims he represents the streets…
But havnt done a single thing for the streets…
If you won’t represent n speak for the people, just shut up instead of adding more insults to their pain…
Common speaking up for your fans have become a problem because you are on the payroll of the politicians so you speak anyhow..
We saa how loud you were on #endsars..
You even recorded a trashy song to support the movement…
All of a sudden we should fix ourselves??

I don’t blame you @shattawalenima
I blame the idiots who still hail you even after you continuously disrespect them.
I’m glad I’m not a fan of your trashy songs.
Just remember, you won’t be on top for long.. We will keep this as recept for you in the coming years… Karma never goes wrong!!!
