Matthew Teague is one of the most popular and richest American Football Player who was born on October 22, 1958 in Cincinnati, United States. He was signed by the Ottawa Rough Riders as a free agent on September 10, 1982. He was signed by Saskatchewan Roughriders on December 6, 1984.
The Dallas Cowboys selected Teague in the tenth round (273rd overall), of the 1980 NFL Draft. Teague was chosen to play linebacker because he was considered an above-average athlete.
After his Cowboys original selection was invalid due to college eligibility issues, he was selected by Atlanta Falcons in round seven of the 1980 NFL Supplemental Draft. He was injured in training camp and was put on the disabled list. He played in 11 games in 1981. The Atlanta Falcons waived him on August 31, 1982.
In 1985, he was signed by the Los Angeles Raiders. He was released on July 25.
