Keenan Anderson Children: Meet Keenan Anderson’s Young Child – Keenan Anderson, a black man, happens to be the cousin of Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Cullors.

According to his cousin, Keenan was killed by officials of the Los Angeles Police Department, however, the police have released a statement indicating that they had no hand in his death.

Anderson can be seen lying on his back in the middle of the road in front of a car in the body camera footage. He is instructed to turn over on his stomach by several officers, and when he refuses, they seize him.

Anderson is warned by the officers to stop resisting or else they will taser him. The video shows one officer, who appears to be Black, pinning Anderson to the ground with his elbow on his neck.

The video shows one policeman repeatedly using his taser as Anderson and the officers struggle. Later, he is handcuffed and taken to the ambulance for a taser evaluation.

According to a toxicology report from the police department’s toxicology unit, Anderson tested positive for cannabinoids and a cocaine metabolite. The county coroner’s office will conduct a free toxicology test.

His death was confirmed in a recent post by his cousin, Patrisse Cullors on Instagram and it reads;

“This is my cousin Keenan Anderson. He was killed by LAPD in Venice on January 3rd, 2023. My cousin was an educator and worked with high school aged children. He was an English teacher.

LAPD has killed three people this year. One of them is my family member.

Keenan deserves to be alive right now, his child deserves to be raised by his father. Keenan we will fight for you and for all of our loved ones impacted by state violence.
