He developed a love for basketball at a younger age and has been consistent throughout his career rising through the ranks to become one of the most sought-after players in that discipline.

Josh Hart played college basketball for Villanova and as a sophomore, he has named the Big East tournament most outstanding player as a junior, he was named a third-team All-American when he helped lead the Wildcats to a national championship in 2016.

As a senior in 2017, he was a consensus first-team All-American. Josh Hart was selected in the first round of the 2017 NBA draft by the Utah Jazz with the 30th overall pick before being traded on draft night to the Los Angeles Lakers.

He played two seasons for the Lakers before being traded to the New Orleans Pelicans in 2019. As of the beginning of February 2023, Josh Hart played for the Portland Trail Blazers in the National Basketball Association.

However, in February 2023, Josh Hart made headlines when during the 2023 NBA trade deadline on Thursday, February 9, it was disclosed that, he (Josh Hart) will join the New York Knicks.

Josh Hart is one of the best-undersized rebounders in the league and he’s capable of defending multiple positions. His 8.2 boards are the most by a player at 6-foot-5 or shorter. He also leads the NBA in offensive rebounds per game among players 6-5 or shorter.
