Jaylen Waddle is an American football wide receiver who was born on November 25th, 1998 in Houston, Texas in the United States of America.
He was born to Jaylen Waddle Sr. and Lesha Redmon. Waddle shares the same parents with his three sisters; Amber Allen and Aspean Redmon. The name of the other sister is not known to the public yet.

In 2019, Waddle rejoined the Crimson Tide for his sophomore campaign. He caught 33 passes for a total of 560 yards and six receiving touchdowns. Additionally, he scored on kickoff returns of 98 yards against Auburn and 77 yards for a touchdown against LSU.
As a return specialist, he was selected to the first team of the SEC and honored as the league’s best special teams player.

Waddle suffered a broken right ankle on October 24, 2020, after being tackled while returning the opening kickoff in a game against Tennessee.
Waddle came back to play against Ohio State in the national championship. Waddle declared on January 14, 2021, that he would forgo his senior year and instead declare for the 2021 NFL Draft.
The Miami Dolphins selected Waddle sixth overall in the 2021 NFL Draft, bringing him and Tua Tagovailoa back together. Waddle committed to a $27.1 million contract with the Dolphins on May 14, 2021.
On September 12, 2021, Waddle played in his first NFL contest against old Alabama teammate Mac Jones and the New England Patriots. In addition to catching his first NFL receiving score on a 3-yard ball from Tua Tagovailoa in the 17-16 victory over the New England Patriots, Waddle collected 4 of his 6 targets for 61 receiving yards.
In Week 12’s game against the Carolina Panthers, he made his first significant impact, ending with 137 receiving yards as the Dolphins defeated them 33-10. Due to his last name, Waddle became well-known for waddling in celebration following scores during the entire season.
Waddle broke Anquan Boldin’s previous record of 101 receptions in a season by recording 104 in his 16th game of the year. Waddle had 104 receptions for 1,015 yards and 7 total touchdowns by the time his first season was up.
