Inside Kim Kardashian’s $150M Private Jet, Kim Air

Kim Kardashian, the billionaire, added another feather to her cap in 2022. She bought a Gulfstream jet, and it cost her a cool $95 million.

But she didn’t stop there. In true Kardashian style, she customized the plane. The modifications sent the jet’s worth soaring to a staggering $150 million.

So, what’s so special about this jet? Let’s dive in.

The interiors are luxurious, to say the least. The Skims mogul, as Kim is known, has affectionately named her plane “Kim Air”.

The plane made its debut on an episode of the Kardashian family’s Hulu reality show. Kim couldn’t help but joke, “I feel like I’m doing an ‘MTV Cribs’ for planes.”

“I never thought I’d own a plane,” confessed the mother of four.

Almost every surface inside the plane is cashmere. Kim even had two bathrooms installed, one at the front and one at the back.

“I wanted it to feel like an extension of me and my home,” she said.

Kim, known for her specific home interior aesthetic, ensured that guests would feel like they were in her living room, even while flying.

“Usually, planes are dark with lighter leather. Mine — I had custom, all-light wood. Every seat has its own phone charger,” she explained.

The “American Horror Story” actress also revealed that the best part of the plane was the cashmere accents on the overhead baggage compartments, ceilings, seats, and headrests.

But there are rules onboard Kim Air.

Everyone, including family, has to abide by Kim’s rules. No exceptions.

One time, ahead of a trip to Milan, a family member tried to bend the rules. Kendall Jenner, Kim’s sister, wanted to get a quick spray tan before their flight.

Kim was not having it.

“A spray tan before my flight?” she asked, incredulous.

“No, it’s a three-hour one, so I sit in it for three hours and then shower it off,” Kendall explained.

Kim was firm. “Have you seen the cashmere seats? You cannot get your spray tan on my cashmere seats,” she said.

In a later conversation, Kim asked Kendall if she had any meal requests. When Kendall requested pasta, Kim was quick to roast her decision.

“We’re going to be in f–king Italy. We’re not going to eat pasta before we go,” she retorted.

On another occasion, Kim revealed a no-shoes policy on the jet. Instead, passengers wear “custom Skims slippers.”

“Don’t breathe. Don’t touch a thing,” she joked on “The Kardashians.”

Kim’s plane is now worth an estimated $150 million.

She’s not the only billionaire with a fancy jet. Jeff Bezos, the Amazon founder, also owns multiple G650ERs.

Kim’s plane is part of the extended-range version of Gulfstream’s G650, which was first unveiled in 2008.

If it’s good enough for Bezos and Kardashian, it’s probably one of the best on the market.
