Georgia Holt Husband: Is Georgia Holt Married? – At the age of six, Holt began singing on an Oklahoma City radio station, and by the age of ten, she was performing with bandleader Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys.
In the 1950s, she won several talent and beauty pageants and appeared in minor television and film roles.
After appearing in a singers’ workshop (Phil Moore’s “Get Your Act Together”) at Studio One in Los Angeles in July 1978, Mike Douglas, Merv Griffin, and Dinah Shore booked Holt to appear on their television talk shows.
Holt appeared on the American game show Card Sharks as an audience polling member as part of a group of ten mothers of famous celebrities from July 4 to 8, 1988.
Dear Mom, Love Cher, a Lifetime documentary about Holt, was executive produced by her daughter, Cher. “I’m Just Your Yesterday,” a duet with Cher, is included on the album.
To promote the documentary Dear Mom, Love Cher and Holt’s album Honky Tonk Woman, Holt and Cher appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2013.
Holt and her grandson Chaz Bono appeared in episode 9 of RuPaul’s Drag Race’s sixth season in 2014 for a talk-show-themed challenge.
Some of her movies are A Life of Her Own, The Adventures of Ozzie & Harriet, Superstars and Their Moms, The Tonight Show With Jay Leno, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Sunday Morning, and RuPaul’s Drag Race.
Although her actual cause of death is not known, Georgia has been someone who had been battling with pneumonia for quite a while. It is presumed that she died from complications of the ailment.

Holt had six marriages and six divorces throughout her life. Cher’s first husband, Armenian-American John Sarkisian, gave birth to her.
Georganne LaPiere, an actress, was born after she married actor John Southall. Holt married bank manager Gilbert Hartmann LaPiere in 1961 and legally adopted Cher and Georganne, giving them the surname LaPiere.
Holt was married to Craig Spencer from 1976 until her death.
