Freya Ridings Parents: Meet Richard and Catherine – Freya Olivia Rose Ridings is a talented English singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, who has been making waves in the music industry since her debut in 2017.

Her musical journey began with the release of her debut single “Blackout” in May 2017, which was followed by “Maps” in June 2017. In September of the same year, she released her debut live album, “Live at St Pancras Old Church”.

In 2017, Ridings supported famous artists such as Tears for Fears, Tash Sultana, and Lewis Capaldi, and went on to her first full headline tour in the UK. Her single “Lost Without You” released in November 2017 became a top ten hit on the UK Singles Chart and earned her immense recognition after it was featured on the reality show “Love Island” in July 2018. It was also chosen as Scott Mills’ ‘Tune of the Week’ on his Radio 1 show in August 2018. The single’s success led to the release of her second live album, “Live at Omeara”, in March 2018, and the single “Ultraviolet” in June 2018.

In 2019, Ridings released her single “You Mean the World to Me”, which was re-produced by Greg Kurstin, and subsequently released her debut extended play of the same name.

She also announced her self-titled debut album, which was initially planned to release on 31 May 2019 but was pushed back to 19 July 2019. She played at the Glastonbury John Peel stage on 29 June 2019, after the festival founder Michael Eavis attended one of her concerts in Bristol.

In March 2020, Freya Ridings toured Australia for the first time, where she performed shows in Sydney and Melbourne. After a three-year hiatus, in January 2023, Ridings released her new single “Weekends”, and announced her second studio album, “Blood Orange”, which will be released on 5 May 2023.
