The former rapper cum political activist also disclosed that the scammers have registered a mobile money account in Nana Ama Mcbrown’s name to facilitate their fraudulence.
Warning the public not to lose their guard, Kwame A Plus revealed this:
These criminals have managed to register a mobile money number in Nana Ama McBrown’s name and are using it to scam people.
They have put out an advert inviting business owners to contact them for paid adverts.
If you contact them, they will tell you how much they charge and ask you to send the money to this number. Dey guard.
He then shared a screenshot of a conversation they had with a potential victim;
In other showbiz news, Akuapem Poloo has confessed that the infamous photo that landed her in jail was deliberately leaked by her to resuscitate her diminishing relevance.
She dropped the shocking revelation when she took her turn on the Delay Show hosted by Deloris Frimpong Manso. The Ghanaian socialite and actress said knowing how controversiality sells, she decided to capitalize on it and get her name out there.
“Fame helps us get jobs. I don’t make much money in the movie industry because I don’t get many roles. As a result, I pay more attention to the advertisements. Because I’m outgoing and like to flaunt my skin, skincare companies want to work with me.
When your fame fades, no one will patronize you, so when I realize my fame is fading, I create something to go viral in order to get contracts.
Before I post anything, I consider the implications. I know I’ll be mocked, but I don’t have a choice; I have to do it. You can’t ask people for money right now because they’re dealing with their own issues. So I need to do this to make money so that I can take care of myself.”
