Fairuz Hussein is one of the most popular and richest Singer who was born on October 12, 1965 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She has worked with Zul on several albums as well as TV soundtracks. One of these was the smash Telenovela “A Time For Us’ (in which they wrote and sang the gorgeous duet ‘A Place For Your’) a joint Malaysia/Philippines TV series that was nominated for the most outstanding Telenovela during the 2010 International Emmy Awards and also in the hit reality show ‘Studio Bintang Kecil’ in which Fairuz performed as the voice instructor as well as Zul as the music director.
Established the company with her husband and partner Zulkifli Nadzar in 1991 with the intention to function as a sole publishing house, which would have the rights to their music. In 2003, they opened recording studios which released two songs Lets Dance and Ketenangan Abadi and then released the album the album ‘Anugerah’. One of the tracks in this album, called ‘Yamano ima” was selected as a one of the finalist songs for the USA Songwriting competition in 2005.
Recording artist Fairuz Hussein is a familiar name in the Malaysian music industry. The talent of her second daughter of award-winning actor/director Hussein Abu Hassan A.M.N. as well as actress Mahyon Ismail, was discovered by a well-known producer and composer Adnan Abu Hassan. Later, she was offered an agreement with the international record label Sony (CBS) at the end of 1988. She was the very first Malaysian singer to have her music recorded on cds and is famous for her hits like Kali Pertama, Lembayung Sepi, Ku Menyintai, Kedewasaan Cinta, Coba Lagi, Sambaria, Curiga, Lets Dance and more. She also is known as the voice of a teacher on television show Studio Bintang Kecil and toured Malaysia as part of Akademi Fantasia (season 8) as a professional juror in the year 2010. She is also the producer for a reality TV show as well as producers for Geng Bakat ( RTM )in 2012 as well as Eco Pintar, a show that is a sitcom/artshow with Erul AF as the lead, Intan Farhani Fadzil etc. in 2013.
