The Cast of Wednesday – “Wednesday” is the new Netflix show, created by Tim Burton and starring actors like Jenna Ortega and Christina Ricci, among others. It has been described as a unique blend of fantasy, horror, mystery, and comedy, but is primarily defined as a coming-of-age series.
Wednesday is an American coming-of-age comedy horror television series based on the character of Wednesday Addams from The Addams Family. Wednesday sees a young girl Jenna Ortega as Wednesday Adams trying to master her newborn psychic abilities, stop the carnage, and solve the mystery that haunted her parents 25 years ago while attending Nevermore Academy.
She was expelled from school after throwing a live piranha into the school’s swimming pool during practice with the boys’ water polo team. She does this in retaliation for the team bullying her brother Pugsley. This prompted her parents, Gomez and Morticia Adams, to enroll her at Nevermore Academy, their high school alma mater in the town of Jericho, Vermont.
Wednesday’s cold, emotionless personality and rebellious nature make it difficult for her to bond with her schoolmates and put her at odds with the principal.

She appears in New York in the episode “Unspoken” as Amy Moore. She made her film debut in 2013, playing the Vice President’s daughter in the superhero movie Iron Man 3. Ortega then starred in the horror film Insidious.
In March 2021, the high school drama The Fallout was released, starring Jenna Ortega as Vada. It was released on HBO Max on January 27, 2022. Receiving positive reviews from critics, Ortega’s performance was praised, with some critics calling it her “breakout” film role.
In Tim Burton’s supernatural series Wednesday, Jenna Ortega played the lead role of Wednesday Addams, which she described as a “new chapter” in her career, saying she wants to do justice to the role of “Wednesday Addams” in the movie Wednesday.
Meet Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia Addams
Catherine Zeta-Jones CBE is a Welsh actress known for her versatility and has won various awards including the Academy Awards, British Academy Film Awards, and Tony Awards. In 2010, she was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire for her films and humanitarian work.
Born and raised in Swansea, Catherine Zeta-Jones wanted to be an actress from an early age. During her childhood, she played a role in the musical Annie and Bugsy Malone’s West End production. She studied musical theater at the Arts Educational School in London and made her breakthrough on stage in 1987 when she played the lead role in the production of 42nd Street.
She made her screen debut in the unsuccessful French-Italian film 1001 Nights (1990) and had great success as the lead actress in the British television series The Darling Buds of May (1991-1993). Catherine Zeta-Jones was disappointed at being stereotyped as a pretty girl in British films, and she moved to Los Angeles. She established herself in Hollywood with roles that showed her sex appeals, such as the action movie The Mask of Zorro (1998) and the heist movie Entrapment (1999).
In addition to acting, Catherine Zeta-Jones is a brand advocate and supports various charities. Her struggles with depression and Bipolar II disorder have been well documented by the media. She is married to actor Michael Douglas and has two children.
Catherine Zeta-Jones was born on September 25, 1969, in Swansea, Wales, to David Jones, a confectionery owner, and his wife Patricia, a seamstress. Her father is Welsh and her mother is of Irish Catholic descent. She was named after her grandmother, Zeta-Jones. She has her older brother David and younger brother Lyndon, who worked as a sales representative before embarking on film production.
She grew up in the Mumbles area of Swansea. Catherine Zeta-Jones was a hyperactive child, so when she was four, her mother sent her to Hazel’s Johnson School of Dance. She was educated at Dumbarton House School, a private school in Swansea. Her family was of humble origins, but their fortunes improved when they won £100,000 in a bingo competition to pay for her dance and ballet lessons.
Catherine Zeta-Jones is a patron of the Longfield Day Center for the Disabled in Swansea and has made significant donations to the center. In 2001, she auctioned the costume she wore in The Mask of Zorro (1998) to raise funds for AIDS patients in Africa. She has also supported other children’s charities, including the International Center for Missing and Exploited Children and Noah’s Ark Appeal. She is also the founding presenter of A Fine Romance which is an annual philanthropic program that helps raise funds for the Film & Television Foundation and is a member of the Cinema for Peace Foundation.

In Wednesday, Luis Guzmán’s Gomez continues the fiercely dependable persona of Gomez Addams; however, he’s much less excessively energetic than the film’s portrayal.
