He retired from screen acting in 2003 but continued his work as a voice actor in radio, television cartoons, and video games. His voice was heard on Walt Disney World Railroad from 2002 until late 2010 and on Disneyland Railroad from 2002 until 2016.
Earl Boen died in Hawaii on Thursday, January 5, 2023, at the age of 81. At the time of this report, Earl Boen cause of death had not yet been made public. However, in 2022, he was diagnosed with lung cancer.
