Dan Quinn Siblings: Meet Dan Quinn 5 Siblings: Dan Quinn, officially known as Daniel Patrick Quinn was born in Morristown, New Jersey on September 11, 1970. to Jim Quinn and Sue Quinn,

Dan Quinn attended Morristown High School in Morristown where he played high school football and graduated in 1989. After completing, he attended Salisbury State University (now Salisbury University) where he played as a defensive lineman from 1990 to 1993.

After the 1993 football season, Quinn was co-awarded the prestigious Bobby Richards award. He was a two-time football team captain and captained the track and field team in 1994.

In the same year (1994), Dan Quinn started coaching the William & Mary Tribe football team and Virginia Military Institute in 1995, working with their defensive lines. He also served as the defensive line coach at Hofstra (1996 to 1999).

Dan Quinn became famous as the defensive coordinator of the Seattle Seahawks from 2013 to 2014, where he was the play-caller for the team’s Legion of Boom secondary. His most successful season with the Falcons came in 2016 when he led them to Super Bowl LI, an accomplishment overshadowed by them surrendering the largest lead in Super Bowl history.

Dan Quinn has coached several teams including; the San Francisco 49ers, Miami Dolphins, New York Jets, and Seattle Seahawks, among others. He’s currently the defensive coordinator (coach) for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League.
