Cristian Gabriel Romero is a professional Argentine footballer who plays as a defender in the English Premier League.

Romero started his career in 2016-2017 when he joined Belgrano in the Argentine Primera División. He only spent 2 seasons with them and made a total of 19 appearances.

He moved to the Italian Serie A in the 2018-2019 season. After signing a deal with Genoa, he later added another season as a loan player there before joining Atalanta for another season.

Cristian Romero joined Tottenham Hotspur as a loan player in 2021-2022, but he eventually made the loan deal permanent. He has so far made 43 appearances and scored only a goal for the English Premier League club.
