Construction works on the National Cathedral has resumed in earnest after the project was stalled owing to the Covid-19 and its related restrictions.
Recall the construction started on March 5, 2020, at the site at Ridge in Accra after President Nana Akufo-Addo laid the foundation stone for the building to start.
The cost of the building has been pegged at $100 million with several donors pledging to support with cash. In new photos we have sighted, one could see building materials at the site while workers busily go about their duties hoping to meet the deadline scheduled for 2024.
