After leading Beverly Hills High School to a Southern Section 3A championship as a senior, Comanche averaged 20.1 points, 16 rebounds, and four blocks per game.
Comanche played in 60 games during his two years at the University of Arizona (2015–2017), averaging 4.9 points and 2.8 rebounds per game.
He filed to enter the 2017 NBA draft on April 8, 2017, and on May 5, 2017, he indicated that he would sacrifice his last two years of NCAA eligibility in favor of staying in the draft. He was not chosen by any team, though.
Comanche was not invited to the NBA Summer League and instead entered the pro-am Drew League after being left off the draft. He signed with the NBA G League’s Memphis Hustle in November. He averaged 9.2 points and 5.4 rebounds per game in his first campaign.
Comanche was acquired by the Canton Charge on January 7, 2019, from the Memphis Hustle in exchange for Jordan Mathews’ return rights and a 2019 second-round selection of the Raptors 905.

Comanche signed a contract with the Sacramento Kings on October 2, 2023, however on October 12 he was waived. Comanche returned to the Stockton Kings on November 9, 2023, but was released on December 15.
