Bride Refuses To Smile As Her Husband Showers Her With Money At Their Traditional Marriage [VIDEO]

A newly wedded bride frowned and kept a mean face at her traditional wedding ceremony when her husband was showering naira notes on her.

The first impression one would get from viewing the video is that perhaps the bride is not happy about her marriage and does not want to be married to the man who was seen happy and smiling.

However, some Instagram users shared insights into this and revealed that it is a tradition in Ijaw where the bride frowns whilst the man sprays money on her and she is supposed to frown throughout until she is satisfied with the money sprayed on her then she can smile.
