After attending Florida State University after high school, Earhardt graduated from the University of South Carolina.

She worked as a reporter for WLTX, the local CBS station in Columbia, South Carolina, before attending the University of South Carolina.

She was the anchor at noon and in the morning. She traveled to New York City after the September 11 attacks to write a story about South Carolina middle school students who raised nearly $500,000 for firefighters to replace a fire truck destroyed at the World Trade Center site.

She relocated to San Antonio, Texas, to work as the morning and midday news anchor for KENS-TV. While in Texas, she ran the Austin Half-Marathon, skydived with the American Army Golden Knights, and flew an F-16 at the Air Force Academy.

In 2007, she relocated to New York City and began working for Fox News Channel. She has admitted that before Roger Ailes hired her, she “didn’t know the first thing about politics.”

Fox and Friends Weekend, All-American New Year’s Eve, and America’s News Headquarters are among her co-hosting credits. She had her own segment on Hannity called “Ainsley Across America.” She has appeared as a panelist on Greg Gutfeld’s Red Eye and The Live Desk.
