Achraf Hakimi Biography
Achraf was born on 4th November, 1998, in the Spanish capital Madrid to Moroccan parents. His football career began at the age of seven where he joined a football team in Getafe called Colonia Ofigevi. From Colonia Ofigevi, he joined the Real Madrid youth team at the age of eight.
Achraf was promoted to the Real Madrid senior team as a back up for Nacho and Dani Carvajal. Hakimi was loaned to the German side, Borussia Dortmund for two years. He had a successful spell at Bundesliga and this caught the eyes of the sports giants in the world.
The Serie A club Inter Milan signed Hakimi on a five-year deal on 2nd July, 2020 at €40 million. After a se ason with Inter Milan, PSG signed him on a five-year deal at an initial transfer fee €60 million, potentially rising by €11 million in add-ons.
Hakimi represented Morocco at the U-17, U-20 and U-23. He was part of the 26 man squad for the 2018 Russia World Cup. He was also called up for the 2021 Cameroun African Cup of Nations. He is part of the 26 man squad at the 2022 Qatar FIFA World Cup.
